Exam dates and last oral projects


Third Term Exam: (lessons 8+9) Friday, May 29th.

FINAL EXAM (retaking exam for students that haven't passed the year) Friday, June 12th

Last oral projects on unit 10  (on the last days of May and first weeks of June)
There will be 6 groups of 4 students, each one in charge of a part of the unit.
They have to produce a useful power point in order to present their part.
They can use all kind of visuals, documents, graphs, maps... to clarify their presentation.
They have to present a cardboard summmary to be fixed on the wall.

 Each group must prepare a test for the audience in order to verify that they have understood their explanations. Every group will correct the test that they have given.

Instructions for oral project unit 8


Students will be split into 2 groups.
Instructions:
1.     1.   Research the topic using the information in the book and the information provided by different websites.
2.      2.  Work with the images.
3.       3. Produce an oral presentation by commenting and analyzing the information supported by a power point with the images.
4.      4.  Present a final report on a piece of cardboard that will be stuck to the wall
5.       5. All the students are responsible for the final project that so if one student shouldn’t attend the lesson under a justified reason, the team must explain that part.
6.       6. The students will emphasize the information related to the main contents and characters of the lesson.

7.       7. The explanation must be clear and understandable. Students must be sure that their audience is following their speech. Prepare some tasks to assess it; ask short questions to their mates, making them participate.
